Chef Leticia Comes to DC!

Chef Leticia Moreinos Schwartz, a celebrity chef and a spokesperson for the Hispanic Diabetes Awareness Program, is on a mission to educate Hispanics living with type 2 diabetes about the importance of eating healthy. In partnership with Merck, Chef Leticia is visiting select cities across the country to show the Hispanic community how to make traditional dishes healthy without compromising taste. On March 26, our team had the honor of providing her makeup for an on-site cooking class she conducted on Capitol Hill. We think Chef Leticia is doing amazing work and we are so proud to have worked with her!

Women in the World Event // Washington, DC

On March 5, an array of strong, smart and empowered women convened for this year’s Women in the World breakfast in our very own Washington, D.C. We were so honored to provide our services to Women in the World leader and Tina Brown, the former Daily Beast editor and founder of Tina Brown Media. She is an inspiration to women everywhere and an incredible, spirited woman. Also in attendance were other female powerhouses, including former secretary of state Madeleine Albright, leading political strategist Anita Dunn, and Senior Advisor to the President Valerie Jarrett, whose work we support and love!

Women in the World is an inspiring worldwide program whose mission is to address the serious global challenges facing women and girls today, including human trafficking and child marriage. The Women in the World Summit took place in New York City last week – be sure to read all about the accomplished attendees and their critical discussions.
